Take a moment to see what one of our patients had to say about her recent experience with porcelain veneers.
Veneers are long lasting and durable. Often patients can expect porcelain veneers to last 10+ years with the proper hygiene and care.
Veneers allow you to easily and confidently change your poor smile to a beautiful one. If your teeth are crooked, yellowed and stained, the difference of veneers will instantly transform your smile.
Unfortunately, natural teeth are porous and tend to soak in stains of dark liquids easily. The effects of tea, coffee and wine are often times irreversible. Porcelain veneers are highly stain-resistant and the white coloring will last for years to come!
Rather than lengthy dental preparations, you can easily and painlessly complete the procedure in as little as two visits.
The veneer process begins with a consultation at Dr. Mansoor’s Gilbert, Arizona office. During this visit, Dr. Mansoor will discuss the patient’s goals and determine whether or not the patient is a good fit for veneers.
After confirming that you are a good fit for porcelain veneers near you, Dr. Mansoor will then use cutting-edge technology to create a model of your teeth. This helps her design the perfect veneers that will fit the shape and size of your mouth.
To make space for the veneers in the mouth, Dr. Mansoor will have to shave away a small layer of enamel from the existing teeth. This amount is usually less than half a millimeter and provides a textured surface for the new veneer to bond to. Because the veneers are not created in the Gilbert office near you, they may take a few weeks to arrive, so Dr. Mansoor will apply a temporary veneer to the impacted teeth to protect them during this period.
Finally, on the second visit, Dr. Mansoor will apply the permanent veneers. The new veneers should fit in the mouth perfectly, so all Dr. Mansoor has to do is bond them to the teeth. Once everything is placed, she will perform a thorough inspection to ensure both the look and the fit are appropriate.
